PERFECTRON, an innovative industrial computing and embedded system solution provider, is proud to introduce its new 1U fanless system – ROC249A and ROC249C. The fanless system powered by Intel® Skylake i7-6700TE Processor soldering onboard features wide range AC input (90V~264V) / DC INPUT (16V to 32V ) and extensive temperature support (-20 to 50°C) which can protect system from damages caused by sudden surge of voltage, thus further secure the reliability of its critical components and the system itself. Besides, extended temperature operation from -20°C up to +60°C without CPU throttling which makes it a powerful computing model specially designed for automatic control and base station management in automation applications. The ROC249A and ROC249C provide ultra-durability, maximum resistance to shock and vibration, and highly reliable solution. The ROC249A/C is designed for the requirement of highly demand graphic performance, such as image processing, autonomous vehicle, etc, ROC249A/C reserve PCIe_16 expansion for high performance graphic card . By adding graphic card NVIDIA® Quadro® M2000 and AMD Radeon™ E8860, the complete system could fulfill powerful CPU+GPU performance requirement. AMD solution E8860 could support up to 6 mini DP; NVIDIA Quadro graphic card M2000 could provide 4 DP output, which make the complete system up to 7 display output, perfect for application which require multi-display.
 
The Dual-Sides Thermal Design for the High-end CPU & GPU

In order to handle the high speed of Intel® Skylake Core i7 6700 and Graphic card NVIDIA® M2000 / AMD Radeon™ E8860. PERFECTRON exclusively adopts special heat radiating material, and forged into a lavish sophisticated metal. The one and only motive behind all these complicated procedures is to bring out the best heat dissipation to replace fan. Fanless computer delivers silent operation that enhances the flexibility of location and eliminates the possibility of external debris inflow which may cause system failure over time. With the benefits of fanless design, ROC249A/C can ensure high reliability and stability while working under wide range temperature from -20
up to 50°C. Additionally, we apply a special thermal design to the ROC249 series called "dual-sides thermal design". CPU module and GPU module are installed severally (One side thermal solution is mainly for Core I processor and the other side is to dissipate the heat for graphic GPU.) with copper heat spreader directly touches the heat source components processor and graphic GPU to absorb the heat rapidly, the heat then transfer to heat pipe; heat pipe is two-phase heat transfer involves the liquid-vapor phase change of a working fluid which can provide high efficiency heat transmission, the aluminum heat sink dissipates the heat into surrounding air promptly.

The system main board Mini ITX INS8349A is applied in ROC249A/C has been developed by PERFECTRON which specializes in developing both ruggedized embedded boards and systems. This ruggedized Mini ITX motherboard INS8349A is powered by Intel® 6th Gen. Skylake ® Core™ i7-6700TE processor and supports rugged memory SO-DIMM up to DDR4 -2400 32GB and abundant I/O interfaces. This powerful processor offers superior CPU and graphics performance, providing quad cores up to 3.4GHz clock speed over compact size 1U rack mount.
