PERFECTRON Launches Intel® Haswell QM87 EBX SBC with 4th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors Core i7/i3 CPU & SSD & Touch Controller Soldering Onboard

PERFECTRON, an innovative industrial computing and embedded system solution provider, an innovative industrial computing and embedded system solution provider has launched a new EBX SBC – OXY5737A. The OXY5737A based on Intel® Haswell QM87 chipset, is powered by Intel® 4th generation Core™ i7/i3 processor onboard. It operates effectively under -20 to 70°C (-40 to 85°C optional) and is a perfect solution for military, transportation, factory automation and digital signage applications.
More key functions are featuring in the stacking PCIe/104 expansion ability, flexible I/O functions for triple display ports (2 x DP, LVDS, DVI-I), SATA 3.0 SSD soldering on board and 9~36V DC-in power support.
Critical components soldering onboard
To achieve high standard of shock and vibration demand, OXY5737A EBX SBC was designed with components soldering onboard including CPU, NANO SATA 3.0 SSD and Swissbit XR-DIMM. This not only enhances the conductivity for circuit dissipation but also improves the robustness of motherboards. Benefits of soldering:

Our rugged connectors have a functional life greater than 10,000 mating cycles, with easy connect/disconnect and blind mating. The PCIe/104 standard specifies Samtec’s Q2™ QMS/QFS Series in a three bank (156-pin) orientation for module stacking. Samtec specifically designed the QMS/QFS Series with a 15.24 mm stack height for top and bottom board stacking. Q2™ has triple the wipe of many high speed mezzanine interconnects making it appropriate for rugged applications.
Mechanical protection up to 5Grms vibration & 50G shock

The adverse effect of these disturbances can range from negligible to catastrophic depending on the severity of the disturbance and the sensitivity of the equipment. Furthermore, the performance and ruggedness requirements of military systems, transportation applications, factory automation, etc. continue to climb. To meet those demands, OXY5737A was designed with mechanical protection up to 5Grms vibration & 50G shock that enables the system to operate in harsh environments.
Wide range DC input 9V~36V with ignition on /off by software control
Unstable voltage and current has always been a critical issue for systems in industrial and transportation applications, OXY5737A supports wide range DC input 9V~36V that protects system from damage causing by unexpected voltage and current and makes sure it operates normally. Furthermore, the software with adjustable power on/off delay time function is developed to protect PC system from damage causing by surge/ under voltage or over current problems.
Extended temperature support -40°C to 85°C
OXY5737A is a model born for extreme temperature environments by proven outstanding operation performance under crucial conditions. Powered by Intel® 4th generation Core™ i7/i3 processor, it survives an extended market-leading operating temperature range of -40°C to 65°C without processor throttling (reduced frequency) and continuously presents superior high performance.
