PERFECTRON Launches New Fanless Rugged System – PER321A-2D
Supports RAID 0,1, extended temperature (-40~+70°C) & Wide Range 9~24V DC
PERFECTRON, an innovative industrial computing and embedded system solution provider has launched a powerful new Fanless Rugged System - PER321A-2D. The PER321A-2D is powered by Intel® Atom™ Cedar Trail D2550 processor; memory supports DDR3 up to 4 GB and two 2.5” SATA easy swaps for SSD storage, it also features wide range DC inputs (9V~24V) and extended temperature support (-40 to +70°C). The PER321A-2D is designed to satisfy various applications with rich I/O interfaces, low power consumption, advanced heat dissipation performance and flexible storage capacity. It perfectly interprets a highly reliable solution for automatic optical inspection, industrial automation, access control, data acquisition, digital signage, and so on.
2 x 2.5" SATA easy swap bay
The PER321A-2D features two 2.5” SATA easy swap support SSD storage. It also supports a rich array of I/O interfaces and extensions, with two gigabit Ethernet ports by RJ45, four USB 2.0 ports on the Rear I/O and two USB 2.0 ports on the front I/O, two COMs for the RS232/422/485, two other COMs for RS232, 2 x Mini PCIe.
RAID 0, 1 function for flexible storage capacity
PER321A-2D supports Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) function with RAID 0 and RAID 1 by two 2.5” easy swappable SSD. With RAID 0 function, application can perform highest speed in read and write by combining two storage into one; for RAID 1 function, it perform the best reliability and security for data storage by mirroring two storages, user can keep up the latest state of the system and make sure the data be well protected. It provides the best redundant back up for applications like surveillance, controller and transportation.
Advanced Heat Pipe Thermal Solution
PERFECTRON ensures that the computer systems we develop remain stable even in high temperature environments. Compared with the majority of companies using solid conductors such as aluminum, copper, graphite and diamond which have thermal conductivities ranging from 250 W/m•K to 1,500 W/m•K. PER321A-2D applies copper vacuum tube liquid-vapors (Heat-Pipe) which have effective thermal conductivities that range from 5,000 W/m•K to 200,000 W/m•K to effectively transfer heat from the heat source (evaporator) to the heat sink (condenser). This advanced thermal solution enables PER321A to operate in a torrid environment without processor throttling.
